This spring is swinging with a social dancing and workshop weekend in Canberra!
Where: Wesley Hall, Forrest ACT
When: October 7th – 9th, 2022
What: Three nights of social dancing, two full days of Lindy, Shag and Balboa workshops and lots of fun!
Bonus: Lindy & Bal Masterclasses October 6th at Majura Hall!
Nothing boosts your dancing enthusiasm and confidence like immersing yourself in a weekend of workshops! Until you experience it for yourself, you can only imagine how worthwhile and satisfying it is to spend a weekend learning your favourite dances.
Through our years of experience, we know how worthwhile workshops are for your dancing and general enjoyment on the social floor. Whether you’ve made the decision that swing dancing is your thing or not, workshops provide a really fun way to get a fresh perspective, learn a lot about yourself and enjoy. We believe that through this experience, you and those around you will grow as dancers and find new things to enjoy about dancing, and that’s always great for the scene!
Prices
Full Pass: $230 – SOLD OUT! (but join the waiting list incase more come!)
All Saturday/ Sunday Workshops & all socials. Includes the famous STT morning tea at workshops. (Excludes Thursday’s Masterclass add-on.)
1-Day Pass: $160 – SOLD OUT! (but join the waiting list incase more come!)
Includes 1 day of workshops (Saturday or Sunday) and that day’s social event.
Thursday Masterclass Add-on: $30 – $45
Lindy Hop and Balboa masterclasses available. Places are limited, please check with your regular teachers that this is right for you.
Social Pass: $80
Individual tickets may also be sold at the door if we don’t reach max capacity
Carer Pass: Contact stt@canberraswingkatz.com for more information about a pass that two carers of dependants can share over the weekend.
