What if I miss a week? No worries! We’ll cover the same material on Tuesdays and Thursdays each week, so if you miss a night you can pop in on the alternate day. We’ll also create a WhatsApp/Facebook group to share recap videos so you can catch up.
Do I have to come both nights? Only if you want to! We’re covering the same content on Tues and Thurs so you don’t have to come to both (though the extra practice is always great!)
Do I have to perform? If you’re joining for the learnings we encourage you to join in for the performance – show off your hard work! But of course if you’ll be away for the Xmas party or really don’t want to perform you can still come along and learn with us.
What about costumes? We want the Xmas party to be as stress-free as possible. With that in mind we do not generally impose costumes or colour schemes for our Xmas routines. If you’d like to dress Christmassy please do! – just as long as it’s flexible enough to dance in comfortably (and please wear flat shoes or low heels for the routine – we want everyone to be safe!)
Do I need to bring a partner? Nope! If you’ve already got a partner you’d like to dance with let us know. Otherwise we’ll pair you up with whoever is available. (We will sort out any lead/follow discrepancies in the final weeks)
Will there be a rehearsal at the Xmas party? As is tradition, there will be one on the morning of the Xmas party (Dec 7th) at Albert Hall! Exact time TBC, but it’ll probably be around 10:30am. Any help decorating the hall would also be greatly appreciated at this time!
Do I have to come to the final rehearsal? It is strongly encouraged, but if you can’t make it just make sure you chat with your partner (or Pip, David or Casey) for any formation notes before the performance.
What time will the performance be? It will be at our Xmas party on Dec 7th at Albert Hall – exact time TBC – but it’s usually in the first or second band break. If you will be arriving late or leaving early please discuss with Casey, Pip and David. We will do our best to schedule the routine for a time when the most people can be there!
